Links Small Groups – Small groups are the key way we have fellowship and grow together in Shatin Church. If you are new or not yet in a group, do join one! We will start again this week but you are always welcome to join. See https://www.shatinchurch.org.hk/links-small-groups/.

Register today for the Church Family Day Away! – On 27 October we will go to Noah’s Ark together. Dr. Andrew Reid will be speaking on life and Jesus from the Psalms. We will also have great fellowship over buffet lunch and BBQ dinner, and our first Shatin Church Talent Show! The deadline is today! Sign up at https://www.shatinchurch.org.hk/familyday2018/.

Christmas Choir – Interested in joining our special choir? We’d love to celebrate this coming Christmas in a special way by having a choir on 23rd and 25th of December. If you’d like to join us, please let us know. You can RSVP here or email Ariel at ariel@shatinchurch.org.hk

Taipo/Fotan Social – 3 November. For all those who live in Fotan, Taipo, Fanling, Sheungshui area, you’re invited! The Tsois will provide the drink and the venue. Bring your own dish to share. Drop in from 11am to 3pm at Hong Lok Yuen. Let us know that you’re coming by RSVP’ing on the app or email heewoo@shatinchurch.org.hk.

Sunday Volunteers needed – Every Sunday we need up to 60 people to run our church services. Have you considered serving on a team? We could use more help for the following:
– Projection (9:30), Ushering, Money Count. Please talk to Heewoo or Niels
– Children/Youth: Sparklers (0-2), Splash (5-6), Youth (11-18). Please talk to Keturah or Rhys

STC TRAINING
STC Foundations: Knowing God – A general introduction to God and what he is like, and what that means for our relationship with him. These seminars are great for those who have recently become Christians or want a refresher. 4 November at 2:30pm at the Church Centre.

Teach your Kids the Bible – Don’t know how to do family devotions? This training seminar for parents equips you to teach the Bible to your children. Sunday 11 November during the 2nd service. There will be childcare so you are free to come. Do put it in your diary!

STC Core: Ephesians – One of the most important books in the Bible, as Paul lays out God’s plan for the church. We would like everyone to know this book deeply and be able to teach it to others. Part 1 starts 11 November for 4 Sundays, during the 9:30 service.
