Covid Precautions

Covid Precautions

We can meet again in-person from Easter Sunday onwards (4 April)! These are the precautions we will take in light of the government and diocesan regulations.

Services
  • There will be two services in TST school as usual, 9:30am and 11:30am.
  • Please arrive early for temperature checks and other precautions.
  • We need to limit the number of people in the hall to about 100.  If you normally attend the 9:30am service but have no children or youth attending our children or youth programs, please consider coming to the second service.
  • Only the 11:30am service will be livestreamed on our Youtube page. If you’re unable to attend, please join us online.
  • Please refrain from shaking hands or making any physical contact with others in the service.
  • We will not be serving any refreshments.

Registration
  • As capacity will be limited, people are asked to register beforehand and book tickets for those attending. Registration is done online.
  • For the 9:30 service, priority is given to families with children in Kingdom Kids or Solid Rock, as these are only held during the first service. If you have no children in KK or SR, please consider joining the 11:30 service.
  • Those who did not register online beforehand will need to either use the ‘LeaveHomeSafe’ app or leave their name and number to register when they arrive.

Precautions

  • There will be a temperature check at the door.
  • Masks should be worn throughout the service.
  • You will be offered hand sanitisers as you enter the hall.
  • Chairs will be spaced out, and the rows 1 meter apart. People of the same household are encouraged to sit on the same row and move their chairs close together.
  • There will be no Bibles provided. Please bring your own.
  • Offering will be collected through the offering box at the back of the hall.

Children and Youth
  • Our children and youth programs will also resume and be held as usual during the  9:30 service.
  • Children will go straight to the volleyball court at the back before going to their groups and will not join the service. Please drop off your children at 9:25am and make your way to the hall.
  • Youth will go to Solid Rock, but will join the main service on Easter Sunday and every 4th Sunday of the month.
  • The service will be approximately one hour. Please pick up young children straight afterwards.
  • There is no creche for infants, but a playmat and toys will be available at the back of the hall. Older pre-schoolers (3 years old and up) will join with Rainbows temporarily.
Of course, please stay home if you
  • feel unwell or
  • have travelled outside of Hong Kong in the past fourteen days or
  • have a member of the household who has fever or respiratory symptoms or
  • have a member of the household who is quarantined at home.
We’re thankful that we can finally meet together again, but in order to protect the most vulnerable, we’re taking every precaution necessary to ensure our meetings are safe. We apologize in advance for the trouble, but we look forward to seeing you soon.
